Tiger will support 64-bit binaries and "fat binaries"
Tiger (MacOS 10.4) will support 64-bit binaries and will see the return of "fat binaries". This time around, instead of supporting both 68K and PPC in one executable image, fat binaries will support 32-bit and 64-bit PPC within the same executable image.

As no surprise, Tiger will also support enormous amounts of virtual and physical main memory (whatever 64-bit PowerPC implementations support, eventually extending up to 16 exabytes, IIRC).
