- The Statement Contradicts Itself!!!

-
First: The production facility that's being sold to Toshiba is the one built over 8yrs ago to house PS2 chip production.
Second: We are talking about a company that made an agreement with these companies that has yet to be fully realized. Until that agreement is fulfilled, Sony is required to uphold it's end of the bargain. To that end just under two years ago they completed billion of dollars spent to construct two separate state of the art Chip Fabrication Plants with technology put in place to migrate from 65nm to 32nm and smaller. They plan on bypassing 45nm completely!
Third: Why in the world would they maintain ownership of the two production lines they purchased from IBM in their East Fishkill, NY facility and at same time sell all their production facilities (which are too numerous to count worldwide) to Toshiba at a fraction of the cost they paid just to build these two recent plants???
Fourth: Here in the day we have a truly qualified hardware production company supposedly getting out of hardware production (Sony) and another (M$) that are just popping the idea of being their own production company!!!!! Where's the truth? NOT HERE!!!
With those kinds of losses why would Joe Blow or Jack hang onto any Sony Stock that is higher priced that M$ and far more stable??? Well??? I don't see any mass exodus from Sony as if they're going out of business anytime soon. Nor do I see them scrambling to liquidate or eliminate products now in production or attempting to procure outside production plants to make their parts for them.
THIS IS NOTHING MORE THAN A FOWL ATTEMPT TO SPREAD PANIC AND UNREST ON A COMPANY WHERE THE GEARS SIMPLY CONTINUE TO CHURN OUT PRODUCTS WORLDWIDE THAT CONTAIN AN OVERWHELMING 70% PLUS PARTS MANUFACTURED BY THEMSELVES IN FACTORIES WORLDWIDE!!!!
PURE UNADULTERATED HOGWASH CONTAINED IN AN ANONYMOUS REUTER'S POST!!! THIS SHOULD BE IN THE SAME SECTION WITH "BOY HAS BABY PUPPY (A DUCK IS IT'S MOTHER) BORN IN HIS MOUTH AND BITES HIM, GIVING HIM RABBIES!!!!" WOW WOW WOW INCREDIBLE NEWS ISN'T IT???
