This will last as long as Dell's profit warnings...
Big business runs government. This will last as long as the money runs dry for companies like Intel, Dell, IBM, Apple (to a lesser extent) and AMD... then the pressure that umpteen billions can exert will force them to change it.

It is like America saying it will restrict the export of anything else that swings the trade balance in its favour... as soon as the BIG MONEY stops the restriction is dropped.

Won't take too many profit warnings, either.
