Why blame just one?
Our country has a long history of helping whichever country is our "friend" at any given time. One glaring example is the billions we poured into Iraq during the 1980s because it was our "ally" against Iran. When Saddam lost his usefulness, Iraq became an enemy. All of this happened under Reagan and Bush Sr.

And a lot of sensitive material being stolen was done by white-bread Americans who were in it for a buck. You can't blame the "Chi Coms" or all the others looking for information from taking advantage of someone's need for quick money.

And am I correct here? Are you blaming Linux for the proliferation of home-grown bombs? Like any other item, it is how it is used and not the item itself to blame. And when we got the technology, we shared like crazy starting in the 1950s-with Taiwan and Japan and South Korea and Israel and Jordan and Egypt and... the list goes on.

Now we are whining because the countries we shared with are outpacing us in the very technologies we helped them create. At the same time the administration wants to ban one kind of technology export, it is still pushing outsourcing like there is no tomorrow. Isn't that an export of technical IP and just as dangerous?
