Just wondering about sony products
10 years ago we use to have a Sony TV, Sony VHS, Sony walkman, Sony Discman, Sony camcorder? 90% of the product in my home were Sony. Today I am really surprise that I don't have even one Sony electronic devise. I ask some co-workers and it was the same story...

My TV? are Toshiba and Sharp, VHS Toshiba, DVD player Panasonic and Bose, Digital Camera and Camcorder Canon, MP3 I-river, Stereo? ohhh yes my night stand clock is a Sony? no joke?

I wonder if they pay attention to these things, but unless they accept other formats they will never regain any market of the audio segment, even worst I think they will disappear.... They are building barriers with Atrack, the memory stick and other formats (New DVD formats), but the effect is that they are trapping themselves on it?
I guess they forgot is not about ?what they want us to buy and how they want it to give it to us? but ?what we want and how we want it?? we will see what will happen in the next 10 years when the new generation will not even see Sony as a leader brand. I guess they will appear in a program like VH1 I love the 80?s as a nostalgic brand?.
