Real world use
Your points are all fair and reasonable. But one must look at
how real consumers would expect to use this product. Every
other music player, you can just copy the mp3, AAC or WMA files
over to the player. With Sony's, you're going to have to convert
to ATRAC and put up with whatever loss in quality that will
cause. Perhaps the product is useful for someone just starting
out, with no music in electronic form whatsoever, but for anyone
else, this is a serious deterrent.
