First in the mind - Apple's Advantage
As stated in the subject header of this comment, Apple computers will probably have a reasonably large marketing and sales advantage over
Sony due to having released their powerful iPod music player prior to Sony releasing their similar product. So long as Apple can stay first in the mind of prospective customers in this particular market, they will probably exceed Sony in sales for some time.
