RE: U.K. phone retailer: 10,000 iPhones could sell in first day
I certainly won't be buying what is essentially a very expensive photo album, becaus that is the only thing that it has going for it.

Even channel 5's 'The Gadget Show', who usually have apple tinted glasses for every i product couldn't find anything good to say about it other than 'it looks good'

Its basically 5 years behind most other phones on the market over here.

Couple that with being locked into O2, having to use the awfull itunes software to buy low quality bit rate DRM'd music files, a 2 mega pixel camera with no functions, or video recording capability, allegedly no sending text messages to multiple contacts, or forwarding text messages due to no outbox. A touch sensative keypad which makes sending text messages a nightmare.

Ok, its got Safari browser, but when entering text the keypad takes up all the screen so you can't see what you are entering, also it uses ancient EDGE technology so no 3G speeds for web browsing.

But hey, at least you can flick through your photo's nicely!
