The problem with lap tops, upgrades...
And I don't mean hardware. I have two relatively new notebooks, one a Gateway and one a Dell. Both use the on board Intel video chip sets. Both video drivers are badly out of date and while Intel has new drivers (to correct the problems) neither of the laptop makers have spent the time to build new drivers and the ones from Intel don't work well on the proprietary hardware.

End result, drivers that don't work well with many applications and no sign of one that will.
