A/P Express Base Station also...

The Airport Express Base Station also supports an internal
modem (for easy fall-back to your ancient dial-up ISP when the
cable or DSL goes down) and the ability to add an external
antenna for better range *WITHOUT* using additional
Airport devices as repeaters (with the increased latency
that goes with that).

Also, Power-over-Ethernet and the ability to be mounted in
a "plenum" air-handling space, if either of those matter to you.
