This is not news to Dell customers

When they got big and bean counters took over is when they started the long slide into the crapper.

As long as companies continue to make "shareholder value" a priority instead of customer value they're always going to be aiming for the lowest possible customer satisfaction level they can get away with. That's true of any big company. And it will continue for a long time after they lose their market share until they've really been down in the dumps a long time like GM.
