- Dell has terrible customer service!
- I ordered my Dell notebook May 24 and recieved it a week later. Four days after that the hard drive crashed. Dell customer service and tech support was very unhelpful and all of the actions taken on their part were prompted by my suggestions. When it became apparent that they were not going to replace my 4 day old system (that would not even turn on) I told them I just wanted to return it and get my money back as it was with in the 21 day return period. Finally someone from Dell offered to have a tech rep come out to my home....but only during business hours. Who is home during business hours? Finally I was told that if I wanted to do a system replacement I could exchenge mine for a new one. I was told that the new system would arrive within 3-5 business days. 15 days later and 4 calls to customer service I recieved my new computer (July 1) and was able to actually use it! It is now July 20 and I still hven't been able to get Dell to pick up the broken system. It seems as though they know that their products are horrible and they don't want them either! Beware! Don't by DELL if you have ANY other options.
