Never said anything about
market share. Linux is increasing market share. Windows is the big player right now, and even as I type this, Linux is gaining tractions and moving up. Cost is one of the reasons, reliablity another. The point of my post is quite obvious and simple, Macintosh needs to come down in price in order to increase penetration of the desktop market. Until that happens, Windows will be there and Linux will continue to grow, and will soon exceed Macintosh.

Don't get me wrong, I like Apple, but the average everyday consumer cannot justify the cost of owning a Macintosh at this time.
