That's absurd. Just because someone wants a high performance computer doesn't necessarily mean that they want a huge monitor.

Considering the performance difference between an eMac and a G5, I think its pretty ridiculous to be in essence saying that anyone who doesn't want or can't afford a monitor that large should just be getting an eMac anyway.

It's one thing when the issue is with, say, hard drives. It makes sense for all G5s to come with really fast hard drives, and not give any other options. But when you're talking about a $2000 computer, and the only options for packaged monitors are at least 50% of that on top, that's a different issue entirely.

Some people can afford a $2500 computer, but can't afford a $3500 computer. Does this come as a surprise to you?
