Stick with DVD!
Both new formats want to control your every move. The want to control when and where you can watch a disc you've purchased, er, licensed (since you don't actually every own it). They want to lock a disc to a single player. They'd lock it to a single pair of eyeballs if they could find a way! Then look at recent articles about the newest Blu-Ray discs not playing at all on some Blu-Ray players. Apparently you need a firmware update, assuming one is even available. If people go with either of these new formats, I predict they'll be very sorry by 2010.
