Idealistic Resolution for Ruarl Areas
Personally I would like to know what Frequency this would run on as well as what the monthly cost would be for 75mbps speed as it would be about Twice the speed of a T3 line (which can run anywhere up to $1,500.00 a month)

The start up fee of $300.00 would be a reasonable price if a low cost monthly fee applied as well say $70 dollars.
Also MUCH NEEDED Future testing would need to be done to develop 802.16 equipment as would be more applicable if it were to also be backwards compatible with other WiFi 802.xx protocol services.
Myself living in a Rural area and have been told for past 5 yrs by phone & Cable companies that we would get High Speed Internet Service other than dialup but we have yet to see it happen. sad
If you have the money DirecWay is the ONLY other issue but there you have the Latency issues of sending & receiving signal into space at 22,000 Miles.
That service is still only at 128kbps Upload & they apply a FAP (Fair Access policy) Besides the WEATHER issue when it because if it Rains,Snows,CLOUDY or even SUN(White Outs) you loose your signal.

This would be the way to go if Weather & Speeds were not to be limited to users as it would be able to reach many Rural areas as well Schools with a 30 mile range.
Another thing think of the Endless Mobile possibilities as well as for weather and traffic related issues.
We will just have to be patient and wait and see in time on this possible technology.
I know I would go for it if the price was right!
