Why aren't lottery tickets free?
By that argument, a lottery ticket is worth nothing when issued. So why do lottery tickets cost money?

The problem is Cisco etc. have been printing option like confetti, so the poor investor wants the shareprice to increase, but all the time his investment is being diluted. Worse still, if the price ever goes up all these options reach strike and drive the price down again.

Great if you've got the options, terrible if your an investor.

In this case, all the FSAB is asking for IS TO LET THE SHAREHOLDERS KNOW HOW MUCH THESE OPTIONS ARE COSTING THEM.

All the major firms do it now, we're left with a few stragglers and a bit of fake turf.
