Don't know what you're talking about
Obviously you don't know what you're talking about. That, or you left out some key details in the CNet article. How and Why would you bother comparing a 5400 RPM drive with a 7200 RPM drive? Were they even the same interface? I know the SSD drives on the market don't yet run at the latest SATA II interface speeds, and so these comparisons are pointless at the moment.

And then you go on complaining that Seagate sucks, when it in fact has one of the better track records out of the bunch of HD manufacturers. On top of that, you admit that you have two drives that are working poorly and yet you haven't taken the time to RMA them. One of the best things about Seagate is their warranties, you should have had those drives replaced. All hard drives die, that's why we have good backup systems and hard drive warranties.

You sir, do not sound like a reliable source of information.
