This sounds like a shakedown to me. I wonder if there is any documentation anywhere that states something to the effect: We wont charge you until you make money for us and implement it in a workable form cause we cant do it. That sounds like a racket if I ever did here one.
They need to update the patent law so that you can't do this. Enforcement from the enception of the patent. Much like trademarks....
I patented h2o but didnt enforce my patent until you got thirstier.. You had a sip but to live you must pay me!!!
