- COMDEX really did stink last year. A big yawnfest all the way around. Making it for the "qualified IT managers and buyers" meant that the people that used to come wouldn't see anything that would get them excited or inspired. Sort of like the CES conference, which is NOT open to the public, it was a big room full of people trying to sell you stuff they already have. No innovation at all.
