UPS, not so good
I purchased a Belkin UPS for oune of my PC's.

The first one started smoking when I plugged it in. So much for the QC stickers!

Took it back & exchanged for another one.

This one is really cute. If you pull the cord out of the wall, it still supplies power.

When we get a real power outage, it shuts down & will not start back up until the power come back on. (yes I tried unplugging it & holding the power button).

Also every once and a while, it will just shut down. This one is oversided for the PC & the house wiring is OK, so it is not like I am pushing it to the limits.

Maybe they should stick to cables.
