RE: FAQ: What does the digital-TV switch actually mean?
Why didn't this article mention the fact the new digital broadcast standard (ATSC) does NOT support portable or mobile TV reception? From what I've read, ATSC assumes an external antenna mounted on a 30 foot antenna mast--something awfully hard to cram into a three inch handheld receiver. Notice the almost total lack of portable ATSC (digital) TVs for sale? I've only found one, and all the reviews universally condemmned it as a complete piece of junk.
