I hope the reliability has improved

We had one of the Xerox/Tektronix solid ink printers. It lasted just until the warranty ran out and then it was numerous service calls until we finally gave up and bought a color laser printer. The last estimate on a repair was >$1000, which was more than it was worth at the time. It lasted less than 3 years and didn't make that many prints.
