Why?

Athlon XPs are dirt cheap nowadays, except possibly the highest rated model (3200+).

Competing with Celerons isn't what AMD should be doing.. P4-based Celerons can't keep up with anything.. the lack of cache on the Celeron, and the P4-architecture's looong pipeline don't mix well..
