Yankee Group's "opinion" is worth something?
I would say that historically, Apple's partners have screwed THEM. Cases in point:
Microsoft (convicted for extortion in the default IE for Office for Mac for 5 years
deal and ordered to sell Apple stock); Adobe (creating Windows versions of
software, removing a huge advantage of the Apple platform); NBC/Universal (trying
to control the retail side of the market as a wholesaler - that's just bad business).

This is just more anti-Apple publicity from ZDNet, the 'nets biggest anti-Apple
website.

I repeat, Apple has been screwed up the backside MUCH more than it has screwed
anybody else and the idiot at Yankee Group is a gasbag who doens't know anything
about business partnerships.

Does anybody here deny that MS used their agreement with Apple in bad faith to
develop a competing product and ultimately nearly ruin it's number one software
platform? Gimme a break.

AT&T is a big company with big boys. I don't feel sorry for them, they are getting
exactly what they wanted out of the iPhone: new subscribers. Apple is not a
charity, neither is ZDNet, so let's stop the whining.
