Isn't the whole Linux deal with Sony for Game Developement? I'm sure they don't develope there games in Windows. Using Linux for Game development doesn't mean the hardware is any more open.

Lets see some hack it to put Windows on it or Mac OSX. Due to being closed systems I doubt it would work. But hey try FREE BSD.
