and when, oh when, will a major major value of Server virtualization be touted and implemeneted fully: hypervision for SYSTEMS TEST and DEVELOPMENT? Like, pardon the expression, IBM's VM/370 (yeah the old one) and its three decades of successors, who had fantastic tracing and debugging features (excuse me, some of them used hardware features like Program Event Recording). Great stuff for systems folks. Oh well. It is likely just a matter of time.
