VMware is yesterday's story...
Microsoft's virtualization products really kick butt. Their complete and total inability to run Linux or Solaris decently means no engineering time is wasted on has-been OS's. The "all Windows, all the time" mantra is certainly where I want to be and I speak for the rest of the IT world when I say that the quicker we stop thinking about Linux and UNIX, the sooner we will be in that happy place. That place where Windows runs everything from email to hospital emergency room servers. Whether it be virtual or physical, Windows will crush all and by all rights deserves to do so based on the Vista WOW and the sheer and utter elegance of Windows Server 2008.
