To be honest...
The last TRULY innovative drive releasaed was 10-12 years ago when Maxtor released their MXT-540/1240 6300 RPM series drives.

Talk about transaction rates!

Unfortunately they were losing $100 a drive shipped, so they weren't around very long sad
