Windows continues to rule all..
In my firm, 100% of all server purchases are for Windows. Linux has 0% budget here. We had a guy once recommend MySQL and Linux for an internal application. Fool claimed he could use one of our older servers. My rep alerted me to the virus risk from this. I immediately put the guy on final warning, ordered new hardware to prove my point and purchased extra SQL Server licenses. I then made this employee get MCDBA certification within 2 weeks or risk losing his job. My rep congratulated me on my motivational tactics.
