The application..

that is the phone w/o the box .. is just that. A protcol that takes advantage of the accesory known to computer systems. That is 'the web,internet (thus Internet Protocol).

Dont mean to circle with the vultures but I shouldn't have to get a job at your company to have a look see at the 'phones themselves. Much less the concept for them being used.

Might I ask how you dialed out from them.Do you dial the same type of numbers as usual telephone ? Or use the same schematics as Internet Protocal. This was probly taken care of behind the scenes either way.

Do you have a link to 3coms site for the phones they sell ?

You see as you say many have been using it for a while.And ZDnet has has several persons speaking of installing the ''system''onto a site for example. But that isn't the point.The point is that there 'must be more than what is told of all that gargantuan thinking.

If there is a shade of it.It does not show here in this story.I mean if you speaking to the senate on the technology,what table full of inspirational technology is going to show a 'real product ?

VOIP is installed on a 'lot of computers with simplicity.It isn't you gota have a computer to have the phone . It is by gosh 'were are the phones ? Anything else 'is speaking of computer(internet protocol),.
