The problem with this
is that VOIP may be nothing more than a web based communications application. Doesn't matter if the box ships with it. Your stiffling it just by creating the 'plausible deniability - of it being anything other than that. WEB BASED COMMUNICATIONS APPLICATION.

I've trying to say that the web had communications for years,. But hadn't been able to prove it.

Then 'if this why not that - in terms of regulation .. of course adding to the scope of 'web based communictions in the last paragraph there -- p2p,and web Im messaging wouldn't be included,.. to do just that.

Anybody at a computer has seen the goods already. But dont know if congress has seen any. I know that other than computer, there hasn't been anything in show room floor to speak of.

But everybody seen the advertisements. And most basically know how they (the phones) would work. It just makes the case that these are something special - wich necesitates the 911 etc. I can see that. But what other hand comes with those regulations, especially since this could be more about application saved application earned rather than the monetary guise vying for the feature room of the technology.

Probably besides the point the ideas of wiretapping. Kind of a boring party to want to invite that scenario.

-just talking.
