- That is very true, but since the Apple G5 uses a variation of the 8130 chipset that AMD developed http://www.amdzone.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=716&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0 I thought it better to say that AMD technology is in Apple and also AMD is the one who worked with those other companies to co-develope hypertransport. Not to mention IBM which has also worked with AMD and currently produces the G5 chip. It depends on how you see it I guess.
