Canonical dismisses Ubuntu security concerns
Yet another reason not to run linux on anything. Time after time it has proven to be untrustworthy. This is not the first time linux has been pwned nor will it be the last. I don't see any reason to use linux at all. Look at its track record: security breeches as shown in this article, limited hardwware support, lack of user friendliness, always having to check to see if you have the latest version of software, constant recompiling, constant patching. Its just not worth the headache.

Its no surprise that Canonical would flat out lie to the public and play this off as no big deal. That company lost my trust and anyone who continues to support them is asking for trouble as well.
