SBC told to unhook phone from broadband

True True, BUT

If cable TV and Cable broadband was available to me I could get rid of this satellite dish in my yard and exchange that for cableTV. That would save me about $4.00 amonth.

I could drop DSL and go with cable and still receive single billing and a savings about $7.00 a month.

Signup for VOIP for $29.99/month Premium Unlimited Plan Unlimited local, regional, US nationwide long distance, and calls to Canada through Vonage and realize an immediate savings of about $7.00 a month just for basic service abd since there are many included features in VOIP that the telco charges for more savings yet. My long distance bill is, well you do not need to know that but with unlimuted LD through VOIP there is a huge savings.

There are some drawbacks to VOIP in that 911 service is iffy rught now and if the power goes out then I am left with cellular. Most folks don't have cellular so that may be a drawback.

So anyway for me bundled cable service which is just out of reach for me would be an initial savings of $18.00 a month. The savings increase because the following is included which around here is about $10.00
