I'm waiting the format war out
and hopefully something like holographic storage or some other open format comes out that neither camp saw while fighting each other and it becomes the next evolutionary and consumer accepted replacement to the DVD legacy (minus the drm schemes) and shows the two consortium that they are not the only, the best, or the critical favorite in town. For now, plain old DVD's for me, and bought on the used market at that.
