As I recall,a few years ago Gateway did a deal with Officemax to be their exclusive supplier. The local Officemax sold their other lines at clearance that Spring,& waited for the new stock. The only thing they ever got was a "Coming Soon!" sign which had the 1-800 number for Gateway. This was placed beside a phone in the PC display area. No brochures,no stock,no other signs. Just a phone & a sign. For 8 months. Then Officemax went back to its old suppliers.
