Just the standard upgrade cycle

Well the low end model which is now the 1.8GHz model has
always had fewer features than the faster systems. The last low
end G5s had the same thing. No PCI-X and only half the RAM
expansion. It is just a standard part of Apples product cycle.

So the PCI-X didn't get removed. They took the low end G5 and
put in two processors that were faster instead of the single one
in the model before.

But yeah I faster video card would have been nice on the high
end model. Maybe it is available as a build to order option.
