- the cost to manufacture is well and good. if the 64's are still costly to make, then it might not be worth it. they probably still have plants geared for 32 bit chips. Who knows.. maybe they'll just be Athlon 64's rebranded, so that they can "keep the Athlon name for their performance chips."
