Sony pays millions to inventor in Walkman dispute

I agree: (With voska, that is.)
I think the evolution of portable stereos was inevitable.

Another point, if Sony is such a predatory company, why weren't
they suing all the companies that copied the Walkman? If they
were laboring under the misapprehension that Morita invented
this form factor, why didn't they patent it and enforce their
patent?

The idea that this guy deserves royalties for everything that
followed is just absurd and shows that this Pavel guy is nothing
but an opportunist.

Personally, I don't like greedy little guys any more than greedy
