- Directv again is a day late and a dollar short,Dish Network has had the DVR for some time and why would you want to pay for directv and tivo when you only pay for one with Dish Network?I guess that Directv customers have more money than Brains.I was a directv customer until I saw how much more and how much cheaper Dish was.I have three DVR's one on each TV and have some thing you cannot get from Tivo a HDTV DVR,lets see you do that Dirctv and Tivo.
