I used to love AMD processors, they were cheaper than Intel and ran great. In years one past I had about a 60/40 mix of AMD and Intel in favor of AMD. Today I have 8 desktops and laptops in the house, all Intel. AMD has lost their way and Intel is eating them alive.

I just hope that AMD doesn't fold, I believe that the minimal competition that AMD is providing does help keep prices down. Sadly, I don't anticipate buying AMD anytime soon.

They also own ATI, if AMD folds hopefully someone will come to the rescue of ATI.
