13,000+ And Counting

I'm at 13,000+ and adding more all the time. Would I want to have all 13,000 with me everywhere I go? Maybe, maybe not. Just glad the option will be there.

And, the iPod is already an amazing Firewire/USB external drive already. It will only continue to grow in its usefulness in that capacity. Need to carry some large Photoshop files to the clients? Pop them on the iPod. Want to carry around a bunch of picture, MPEG files, whatever is too big to burn to a CD? You got the space right there.

And, you can make an iPod a bootable volume for the Mac already. So, now you can have almost everything you need on it and still carry some tunes. And have an emergency boot up in case something nasty happens to the internal drive.

Remember, this is the iPod, not the iSongs, the iMusicPlayer, etc. It's usefulness and purpose will continue to grow.
