You've Never Studied "Lower Criticism", Have You?
Your analogy to the written transmission of the text of the Bible is so ignorant as to be laughable. BTW, "Lower Criticism" is the discipline of studying ancient documents to determine what is most likely to have been the original wording.

The Bible (particularly the New Testament, whose lower criticism I'm most familiar with) is the best-attested work of ancient literature, hands-down. The time gap between the estimated time of writing and the earliest copies is about 300 years. That's SHORT for ancient literature. The gap for, say, Aristotle's works is about 1000 years; yet we don't seriously question that the copies we have are substantively Aristotle's works.

As a former pastor (with a Master of Divinity from one of America's better theological seminaries) I have been studying the Bible with the benefit of graduate-level training. I've read the textual variants (mostly in English translation, but some in the original Greek as well) and have found nothing that contradicts any article of the Christian faith. Even things that are just not in the older manuscripts are substantiated elsewhere.

You're going to have to find something else to base your argument on.
