It was very good reading, and points out a lot of the problems of
proprietary un-documented file formats. Hopefully with all of the work around ODF, and forcing MS to at least make OOXML at least somewhat open, governments will pay more attention to the document format problem and realize that the best option is completely free and open document format standards NOT controlled by a single company.

Notice that he said that OOXML will not create huge problems since it is more or less open, but, we need to beware of MS unilaterally adding features that are NOT part of the standard.
