TV Cable Cards
If you buy TV services from a cable or satellite company, it would be nice to be able to plug any new set to the signal and get all the channels you have paid for. Right now without a cable card set, people are forced to use the providers tuner box, and that negates a lot of features that TV manufactures put into their. set. I have a cable card in my Samsung TV, and that allows me to watch all of the channels that I have purchased by using the TV tuner. I also have a Scientific Atlanta 8300 DVR, and that has it's own cable card inside. The cable card should be located at the initial entry point of the service into the residence so that everything that is connected to the service will be able to utilize everything that has been paid for.
