If Linux/Unix is so stable, and secure then one question
comes to mind. Why the need for expensive support anyway!?! I'd think that expensive support contracts would go the way of the dinosaur sooner rather than later.

I know there is a fear factor to consider, but if the big selling point of both OS's is stability and security you would think it would take far less support than let's say MS server solutions and that would translate into support savings.
