Maybe on the X86 platform
But not on the SPARC Platform. I mean why bother with Linux on a SPARC server. You get both Linux or Solaris for nothing but you get support for Solaris from Sun where as you have to pay extra for Linux support. Doesn't make much sense now does it. Also Solaris is more secure than Linux too, not by much though but when comparing free products you have to take it in consideration.

I suppose you could also run Linux on a Mac or on a X-box too but why would you want to?
