Good for AMD & Sun!

Now all AMD needs to do is boost their manufacturing capacity. This could be huge for both Sun and AMD. It is interesting that Sun points out that AMD processors out perform Intel's when it comes to floating point, which is huge in a supercomputing environment. Intel has engineered for the consumer market--we'll see what cpus the rest of the players want when the reveal they're architectures.

AMD just gained some credability and gravitas. Sun must believe AMD can deliver, or they wouldn't be spilling the beans this soon.
