stop blaming and look for a solution
my good friend, if a family is earning a total of $1000 a month, then spending over $500 for a computer is next to impossible. This is the only reason why piracy is rampant in countries like India and China. What these software makers need to realize is if they charge as per the affordability of people then only piracy can come down with people buying software more legally. Its simple economics and unfortunately people like you can only know who to blame rather than finding a solution to the problem. When countries like US have criticised the pricing of Vista and Office then why blame people in India and China for seeking out cheaper alternatives. Quite unfortunately, Linux is not really that user friendly to find mass appeal.
